This is our third time staying at CORTIINA Hotel in Munich, each time we stay we are blown away by how much we love this hotel. The staff go above and beyond for their guests and I think it would be hard to find a hotel with service like theirs anywhere in the world. I have stayed at a lot of luxury 5 star hotels and the service at Cortiins is unparalleled. Their breakfast is my whole family’s favourite. Rooms are beautifully designed and decorated, REN products in the bathroom, beautiful comfortable beds with huge pillow menu, for a small hotel, it’s doing an incredible job that most larger hotels could learn from. We cannot wait to return.

This was our first hotel for a 10 day trip to Europe with 8 people. I was very glad I spent a little more than some of the other spots I looked at. The breakfast was great; the staff was so kind and even gave my teenage son contact solution because he forgot it and didn’t realize stores aren’t open on Sundays. Great location, great rooms and a lovely gym. Highly recommend.

Cortiina is a classy small boutique hotel centrally located just steps from Marienplatz and Hofbräuhaus. It's not really 5-starts, feels more like 4, as it doesn't have any service at all, just the basics you would expect in a hotel like room cleaning and a valet. Front desk personnel are all very friendly but lack training. Feel more like temporary workers spending time there. They don't have anyone to receive you when you arrive by taxi with luggage! So we had to bring the luggage inside ourselves! That's unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Breakfast is great! Probably the best feature of the hotel. The personnel that work in the breakfast are amazing, superstars. The night personnel for the bar are terrible. I actually didn't manage to have a drink at the very same hotel I'm staying at because it was fully booked for external people... they could at least warn you when you make a reservation to book the evening bar! It's in the same place as breakfast so it feels like an area we as guests can always use, but apparently not... I had to go to a bar outside to have a drink in a cold night... The valet is costly, if I remember right 40EUR/day but it's very efficient. They bring the car quickly outside for you every time. What I love about Cortiina is the feeling of being in a cute classy apartment in the city! Cortiina doesn't have lots of competition because there aren't any other nice small hotels, besides them and Louie. They used to be much better as I stay there for many years now, but I feel they lost the service touch. No attention to details whatsoever, feel soulless and cold. Aside from breakfast which for some reason is actually great.

The pillows were as flat as pancakes and super uncomfortable and the temperature control in our room was broken and technician was not available to repair so for 2 nights we could not sleep at all as we were cooking in the room. The noise level in the street below filters to the bedrooms as loud as if they were talking in the room and there are no block out curtains so all street lights shining into our trim again making it hard to sleep. In the positive side the breakfast was outstanding and the staff very friendly.

Fantastic location..walk everywhere..easy walk to Maruenplatz, Farmers Market, etc , Great enthusiastic and personable staff.. Don’t be alarmed by the street..strip joint across from the hotel..around the corner is very classy. Our room was not in the main building. It was next door. Very Japanese meets Scandinavia..large by European standards. The heavy window kept out the lively night life sounds, BUT if you like to sleep with the windows open, request an interior room. Highly recommend
